Embakasi South, Kenya – Collins Jumaisi Khalusha, the prime suspect in the gruesome murders of at least 42 women, claims he was subjected to police brutality following his arrest yesterday. Khalusha, who is accused of dismembering the bodies of his victims and dumping them in a quarry in the Kware area, made the allegations through his lawyer, John Maina Ndegwa.

According to Ndegwa, Khalusha was molested and tortured into making a confession about the murders. He has pleaded with the court to grant his client access to medical care, citing severe mistreatment during police custody.

In a significant development, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is seeking to detain Khalusha for 30 days to conclude their probe into the murders. The DCI argues that if Khalusha is released, he poses a significant risk of continuing his criminal activities.

The shocking nature of the alleged crimes has sent waves of fear and outrage throughout the community, with many calling for justice for the victims. The case continues to develop as the court considers the DCI’s request for extended detention and Khalusha’s claims of police brutality.
