The shilling has stabilized, appreciating from Ksh 162 to Ksh 129, and inflation has significantly declined.

The government’s efforts to boost food production have yielded results, with 7 million bags of fertilizer distributed to farmers.

Additionally, all 17 sugar factories in Kenya are now operational, ensuring sufficient sugar production to meet local demand.

In the healthcare sector, the Ministry of Health has established SHA and SHIF to address health challenges.

NHIF and Taifa Care have been implemented to provide healthcare coverage to Kenyans.

The government has also made strides in education, hiring 56,000 teachers and planning to recruit an additional 20,000 by January 2025.

President Ruto’s address outlined a range of initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Kenyans. The cancellation of the Adani deal and the focus on economic stability and social development were among the key highlights.
