Orphaned and facing limited family support, Sharon Jackson Angu, a housemaid in Qatar, embarked on an inspiring journey. The loss of her parents left her responsible for her younger siblings, but financial challenges and a lack of help from relatives wouldn’t deter her. Determined to build a better future, Sharon made a bold move in 2017.
She relocated to Qatar for work as a housemaid, diligently saving every penny towards her dream of a home in Kenya. With unwavering trust, Sharon entrusted her cousin, Jimmy Larry Murundah, with the money she’d saved. Despite being distant relatives, Jimmy proved to be a pillar of support. He used the funds Sharon sent to oversee the construction of a beautiful three-bedroom house back in Kenya.
Sharon’s story is a powerful testament to resilience, determination, and the importance of family, even when it extends beyond immediate blood relatives. While she grieves that her parents couldn’t witness this incredible achievement, she expresses immense gratitude for Jimmy’s unwavering support. Sharon’s journey serves as an inspiration to us all.
