In response to circulating rumors, Molo Member of Parliament Kuria Kimani has addressed speculation that he is poised to replace Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro as the chairman of the National Assembly’s Budget and Appropriations Committee.
Kimani clarified that he has not received any official communication regarding the potential changes but expressed his readiness to assume the role if the opportunity arises.
Kimani emphasized his commitment to serving Kenyans, stating, “I am always at the service of Kenyans wherever way, whichever committee I need to serve, whether it is finance, transport, energy. I am always available for services to the people of Molo and the people of Kenya in whichever capacity that I am given a chance to serve”.
The rumors come amidst a broader political reorganization, with reports suggesting that President William Ruto is continuing a purge against allies of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Despite the uncertainty, Kimani’s readiness to step up reflects his dedication to public service and his willingness to take on new challenges for the benefit of the nation.
