Cristiano Ronaldo Hints at Retirement, Focuses on Enjoying the Game

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted at a potential retirement in the next few years, while also emphasizing his current focus on enjoying the beautiful game.

In a recent interview, the Al-Nassr forward shared his thoughts on his future: “My retirement will happen, could be one or two years… don’t know,” he said.

However, he quickly added, “I’m not planning the retirement! Just enjoying football, I’m gonna turn 40 and still enjoy this game… and when I don’t feel like it, I’ll take a step forward and then say that it’s not for me anymore.”

Ronaldo’s current priority remains his passion for the sport. He expressed, “Now I’m still fighting to win, I love to play, I’m really enjoying and then we will see about the retirement.”

Despite his illustrious career and numerous records, Ronaldo dismissed the idea of chasing a specific goal like 1,000 career goals. He stated, “1000 career goals would be nice to achieve… but no, I’m not even considering or focusing on that target.”

As Ronaldo continues to defy age and expectations, fans eagerly await his next chapter in the world of football.
